Chestnuts are harvested in 3-5 batches according to fruit maturity. When the fruit is separated from the involucre (i.e. fried), shake the small tree by hand to make all mature fruits fall. The other is surrounded by bricks with a width of 1 meter. Fill 40 cm square sawdust with 5 cm thick sawdust, then mix chestnuts and sawdust in the ratio of 1:1 into the frame, and cover with about 10 cm thick sawdust. Natural air drying can eliminate diseases and pests and damage fruits. Spray for 1-2 days to let the water evaporate. When the weight of fresh fruit is reduced by about 10%, soak it in a bucket of cold water for 7-8 days, then take it out, put it in bamboo blue, hang it in a ventilated place, and let it dry naturally. Storage for one month is a dangerous period, which requires frequent inspection. Next April, chestnuts are still fresh. 4. When the chestnut pepper slices are separated by about 30%, select the mature yellow shell pepper slices and put them into the container. Cover with a small amount of white grass and let it mature for a period of time in a barn or a dry, ventilated, cool room. Don't eat chestnuts after opening. When you need to eat, remove the thorny buds together to keep them fresh until next spring, but prevent them from sprouting after spring.
