1. Sand storage method: first lay a layer of straw on the ground in a cool room, and then spread about 6cm thick sand. The moisture of the sand should be kneaded into a ball with your hands, so that you can release your hands. Then press a layer of chestnut fruit sand on the sand (each layer is 3-6cm thick) and stack it alternately. After this operation, lay 6-8 cm of wet sand on it and cover it with straw. It needs to be turned over and checked every half month. If the sand is dry, please spray water appropriately. Chestnuts stored in this way can be kept fresh for about 4 months.

2. Storage method of sawdust: select fresh sawdust with water content of about 30-35%, mix it with chestnuts in the ratio of 1:1, and then pour it into the room surrounded by well ventilated chestnuts. (in the frame, pour 4-5cm thick sawdust on the ground), and then cover it with about 9cm sawdust. During storage, always check the indoor temperature, humidity, ventilation conditions and chestnut conditions in the frame. If the temperature or humidity is too high, ventilation is required in time, and rotten fruits should be removed in time to prevent spread.

3. Storage method of jar: put the chestnut fruit in a dry, clean small jar or thin jar (do not use a jar or jar containing wine). When it is full of 80%, stuff the straw into the barrel mouth (jar). Then put the water tank (altar) upside down on a wooden board or dry ground. This storage method is suitable for a small amount of chestnuts, which can be kept fresh before the Spring Festival.

4. Dry storage or hanging storage method: Boil the chestnut fruit in boiling water for 5 minutes, or soak the chestnut in clear water for 2-3 days. Plastic bags with holes can be used), and the shelf (hanging) is empty and air dried. This method can be stored for a long time. The disadvantage is that when stored for a long time, chestnuts will lose more water, and the flavor is slightly inferior to fresh chestnuts.
